Tools & Materials Needed:

Adjustable wrench

Basin wrench (optional)

Plumber’s tape (Teflon tape)

Bucket or towel (to catch water)

New shampoo bowl faucet
Step 1: Turn Off Water Supply

Locate the water shut-off valves under the sink and turn them off.

If there are no shut-off valves, turn off the main water supply.

Open the faucet to release any remaining water.
Step 2: Disconnect Water Supply Lines

Place a bucket or towel under the connections.

Use an adjustable wrench to loosen and disconnect the hot and cold water supply lines.
Step 3: Remove the Old Faucet

Look underneath the sink for the mounting nuts securing the faucet.

Use a basin wrench or an adjustable wrench to loosen and remove them.

Lift the old faucet from the shampoo bowl.
Step 4: Install the New Faucet

Position the new faucet into the existing mounting holes.

Secure it from underneath using the provided mounting nuts.

Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for a snug fit (do not overtighten).
Step 5: Reconnect Water Supply Lines

Wrap plumber’s tape around the threads of the faucet connections.

Attach the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets.

Tighten with a wrench.
Step 6: Turn On Water & Check for Leaks

Turn on the water supply valves.

Slowly open the faucet to let water flow and check for leaks.

Tighten any connections if necessary.
Step 7: Test the Faucet

Ensure both hot and cold water are working properly.

If there’s low pressure or uneven flow, check for debris in the aerator and clean it.
